Organizing Class Pictures From Sue Kutzner, a third grade teacher in San Marcos, California: "I take lots of pictures of my students during the year but never had a system to manage them and it was a scramble to find them at the end of the year. Now, I always have duplicate prints made. One set goes in a classroom album that the kids can browse through and the other set goes into a card file. I bought a 4x6 file box and a pack of dividers. I turned the alphabetized side over and numbered the dividers from 1-20. Each student has a class number and their pictures go into the file behind their numbers. Now when it's time to turn in pictures for the school year book or other special books, I know exactly where to find them. Pictures from the album can be divided among the class and everyone ends up with a set of pictures from our year together. Parents donate the film at the beginning of the year."
